Why photos hold listings back
The photos are usually the slowest part of getting a vehicle online, and every channel shows the gap.
- New arrivals sit online with a placeholder, or with no image at all
- Photos live on a camera or a phone and never reach the DMS
- The DMS export carries a photo list some channels can’t read
- Someone has to re-order photos in every portal separately
Shoot a whole walk-around without stopping
Open Photos on a phone and tap Take photos. A full-screen camera takes a shot every time you tap and starts uploading it straight away, so you can shoot a complete walk-around, tap Done and move on to the next vehicle. Photos are resized to 1,920 pixels on the long edge before they upload, so a 12-megapixel shot goes up as a few hundred kilobytes, even on the lot’s Wi-Fi.
The right photo first, everywhere
Drag photos into order with your thumb or a mouse, star the one that should lead, and select several to delete at once. Changes save as you make them. The first photo becomes the cover in every feed, so Google, Facebook and your marketplaces all lead with the same shot.
Straight into the feeds you already run
When Inventory Photos is on, every vehicle in every feed gains photo fields. The feed editor spots columns like image_link, additional_image_link or ImageURLs and points them at the right photo field in one click, and a filter on photo_count can hold back vehicles that aren’t photographed yet.
The photo fields every feed can use

| photo_urls | Every photo, in order, joined by comma, pipe, semicolon or space |
| photo_additional_urls | Every photo after the cover, for additional-image fields |
| photo_count | How many photos the vehicle has, for filters and health checks |
| photo_source | uploaded, source, mixed or none |
