Not every car on the lot is in the DMS export yet: a trade still being appraised, a consignment unit, a vehicle at a satellite lot. You can now add any of them by VIN. Mi Auto Sync decodes the VIN for year, make, model and trim through the NHTSA vPIC database, and you fill in stock number, price, mileage and colors.
The vehicle is written under your dealership’s own column names, so pricing rules, feeds, window stickers and photos treat it exactly like a vehicle from the file. Mark it sold or available, edit it, or delete it; and if the inventory file later lists the same VIN, the file takes over.
